驯化牦牛基因组中的有害突变积累的研究

有害突变对性状表型起着重要的作用,能够影响生物的适应性,因此有害突变发生的频率和丰度受到了很多关注.在作物和家畜中,驯化和育种过程会使有害突变持续高频率的存在,识别有害突变对于理解驯化后的遗传效应和品种改良十分重要.基于59头驯化牦牛和13头野生牦牛的基因组重测序数据,在家牦牛中鉴定出3,187个的有害突变位点,涉及2,586个基因;在野牦牛中鉴定出2,067个有害突变,涉及1,701个基因.进一步的群体遗传学分析证明,家牦牛基因组中的有害突变数量相比于野牦牛显著增加.本研究识别的有害突变位点和有害突变基因,为理解牦牛驯化后的遗传效应提供了新的线索,相关数据也能为牦牛品种改良提供重要的遗传资源.
