中国社会科学院于1979年3月23日至4月2日在四川省成都市召开了中国历史学规划会议.出席这次规计会议的代表共二百八十人,来自全国主要科研机构、高等院校以及部分编辑出版部门等一百四十多个单位.会议开始,由中国社会科学院历史研究所副所长梁寒冰同志致开幕词,中共四川省委书记杜心源同志、中国社会科学院副秘书长兼规划联络局局长梅益同志、中国社会科学院近代史研究所副所长黎澍同志在会上讲了话.会议首先由徐中舒、郑天挺、翁独健、傅衣凌、陈庆华、戴逸、刘泽华、朱杰勤等十几位同志作了大会发言,内容有:国外对我国近现代史研究的状况,关于我国少数民族史、中外关系史、军事史、近代史等方面的研究情况和展望,以及对一些基本理论和历史专业的探讨.会议以较多的时间讨论了中国历史学发展规划草案,并对一些需要协作完成的重要研究项目交换了意见.会议认为,中国历史学发展规划是根据我国史学的目前状况和发展需要制定的,要实现它必须作很大的努力.这就要坚持马列主义、毛泽东思想的基本原则,创造性地研究中国历史;要加强史学界的团结;要在党的双百方针指导下开展学术的自由争论;要培养和造就人才;
Chinese Academy of Social Sciences held a meeting on the planning of Chinese history in Chengdu, Sichuan Province from March 23 to April 2, 1979.
