博士论文的质量是教育质量的体现,也是学科知识累积和扩散的重要渠道。本文基于麦克科蒂和科利尔里的论文质量评估框架,从核心议题、研究方法和论文质量三个维度,对两岸2002年至2014年间产出的部分公共行政学博士学位论文摘要进行比较研究。大陆地区公共行政学博士教育晚台湾十年,两岸该领域博士论文质量也存在着一定的差距;大陆地区产出的论文在研究方法的规范性、研究议题的本土化及前沿性等方面也有待进一步提高。本文建议在加强研究方法训练的同时,拓展比较研究的途径,建构博士教育研究的专业社群,在提高论文质量的同时,为学术交流搭建平台。
The quality of doctoral dissertations is an indication of the quality of education and an important channel for the accumulation and diffusion of disciplinary knowledge. Based on the quality evaluation framework of McCourty and Collier’s thesis, this dissertation compares the dissertations of some Ph.D. dissertations in public administration from 2002 to 2014 from the three dimensions of the core issues, research methods and quality of the thesis . PhD education in public administration in mainland China ten years later in Taiwan, the quality of doctoral dissertations in the field between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait also lags behind. The papers produced in the mainland are also waiting for the standardization of research methods, the localization of research topics, and the frontier issues. Further improve. This paper suggests that while strengthening the training of research methods, we should broaden the path of comparative research and build a professional community of Ph.D. education research to improve the quality of the essay and build a platform for academic exchange.
