90年代初,随着1200V的IGBT(门极绝缘双极型晶体管)模块的成熟和批量生产,首次应用于铁路动车──德国法兰克福R型城市铁路低地板电力动车。文中将IGBT变流器与GTO(门极可关断晶闸管)变流器作了比较:元器件特性好、体积小、重量轻,用于铁路机车动车可带来许多优越性;介绍了1200V和1600V的IGBT的电路和实际应用;指出IGBT将进一步发展,1995年将达到3000V和4500V;预计IGBT不仅近年内在中小功率范围内可代替GTO,而且可发展用于更大动率的机车和动车。
In the early 1990s, with the maturity and mass production of the 1200V IGBT (Gate Insulated Bipolar Transistor) module, it was first applied to the railcar ─ ─ R type city railroad low floor electric car in Frankfurt, Germany. In this paper, IGBT converter and GTO (gate turn-off thyristor) converter are compared: good component characteristics, small size, light weight, for locomotive rolling stock can bring many advantages; introduced the 1200V and 1600V IGBT circuit and practical application; pointed out that the IGBT will be further developed in 1995 will reach 3000V and 4500V; IGBT is expected in recent years not only in small and medium power range to replace GTO, but also for the development of more locomotives and motor vehicles.
