用测量密度的方法,通过计算分析二元合金的成份,一般来说,凡是纯金属或已知是二元合金,都可以用这种方法进行半定量或定量分析。其分析的准确度,主要取决于纯金属或二元合金的纯度。杂质元素含量越低,准确度越高。而分析的精度则取决于天平的精度。该方法与其它快速鉴别金属的方法比较,主要优点是排除了人为的经验误差。
