ABB公司新推出的高压比VTR…4P和VTC…4P系列增压器,压比高达5。当今四冲程柴油机,平均有效压力大约在2.4~2.5MPa,要求增压器压比为4。预计不久将来柴油机平均有效压力将达2.8MPa,要求全负荷时增压器压比为4.5,超负荷时为5。为此对这种最新发展的增压器提出了如下要求: a.压比须达5,但增压器效率仍应保持原VTR…4和VTC…4系列的水平,甚至更高些; b.在压比增大引起机械负荷增加的情况下,仍须确保高的可靠性; c.应保留VTR和VTC系列的成熟结构;

The pressure ratio has to be up to 5, but the turbocharger efficiency should still be at the level of the original VTR ... 4 and VTC ... 4 series even higher; b Maintains high reliability with increased mechanical load due to increased pressure ratio. C. Mature structure of VTR and VTC series should be retained.
