The progress made in Zn: Mn thin film AC EL flat panel display devices in terms of high brightness, long life and stability has further increased the interest in such display devices. Due to ZnS: EL screen light color is limited to orange. Therefore, people in order to develop multi-color thin-film EL devices and make unremitting efforts. However, few attempts have been made to develop white thin film EL devices. The better white thin-film EL phosphor ZnS: PrF_3 that has been reported so far can only give a low luminance of 350 cd / m 2 under a voltage of 5 kHz.
