CNES在POSEIDON计划中提出在SPOT卫星上搭载来进行海洋学方面的研究工作。此计划的任务是要提供海平面的高度测量,以确定海洋的总环流。搭载由测高计和其它设备(DORIS,辐射计…)组成,用于精确定轨和测高计测量的修正。TOPEX测高计是美国研制的。作为一次试验机会,在CNES/NASA联合计划中将于1991年飞行,在美国卫星上搭载,用ARIANE发射。POSEIDON测高计是采用的固体器件,功率放大器是采用的GaAs FET技术。文中给出了测高计的设计和性能指标(射频脉冲性能、硬件、接口、数据、信号处理工作方式…)。文中还介绍了测高计的研制进展情况,目前已处于B和C/D研制阶段。给出了在测高计工作台上所得到的初步联试结果。
In the POSEIDON program, CNES proposes to carry out oceanographic research on the SPOT satellite. The mission of this program is to provide sea level measurements to determine the total ocean circulation. Powered by altimeter and other equipment (DORIS, radiometer ...) for precise orbit determination and altimeter measurements. TOPEX altimeter was developed in the United States. As an experimental opportunity, it will fly in 1991 in the joint CNES / NASA plan, be carried on US satellites and be launched by ARIANE. POSEIDON altimeter is the use of solid-state devices, the power amplifier is GaAs FET technology. The altimeter design and performance indicators (RF pulse performance, hardware, interfaces, data, signal processing methods ...) are given. The article also introduced the research progress of the altimeter, has been in the B and C / D development stage. The preliminary test results obtained on the altimeter stage are given.
