12月5日,全国红十字志愿服务暨宣传工作会议在北京召开。信息显示:未来几年,中国红十字会将推进志愿服务的制度建设,推动红十字志愿者队伍逐步扩大。全国人大常委会副委员长、中国红十字会会长华建敏出席会议。华建敏指出,广大红十字志愿者身上体现的是行善积德、关爱生命、扶贫济困、助人为乐的优秀质量,这既是中国优秀传统文化的体现,也是国际红十字运动宗旨的体现。志愿者既是人道行为的实施者,又是人道价值的倡导者;志愿服务既是实施人道救助行为的重要载体,也是传播人道价值观的重要方式。
On December 5, the National Red Cross volunteer service and propaganda work conference was held in Beijing. Information shows that in the coming years, the Chinese Red Cross Society will promote the system construction of voluntary service and promote the gradual expansion of Red Cross volunteers. Hua Jianmin, vice chairman of the NPC Standing Committee and chairman of the Chinese Red Cross, attended the meeting. Hua Jianmin pointed out that the vast majority of Red Cross volunteers embody the outstanding quality of good deeds, caring for life, helping the poor and helping others for their enjoyment. This is both an expression of China’s excellent traditional culture and an expression of the purpose of the International Red Cross Movement. Volunteers are not only the implementers of human behavior, but also the advocates of human values. Volunteering is not only an important carrier of implementing humanitarian aid, but also an important way to spread humane values.
