方正莲花池,原名方正莲花泡,位于方正镇西5公里哈同公路北侧,德善乡莲花村（原名谭先生井子）境内。该地呈盆地形,池口面积63公顷,水域面积24公顷,因天然生长莲花,故名,是省内较大的天然莲花池。该地1996年有莲花2119898株,开花578888朵。每年七、八月间绿叶接天,花红一片,灿若云霞,美不胜收。微风拂过,闻香数里。《吉林方正县志》有县知事杨步墀所作《方邑八景》七言古诗之三《遥渚秋雨》云: 昼长曙光暗莓苔,
