在黄河流域水土流失治理中,新安县自2001年来开展了黄河水土保持生态工程项目区治理。经过几年来的建设,已将项目区建成为一个融水土流失治理、城市绿化美化、农业结构调整、产业综合开发为一体的具有高质量标准、高产出效益、高示范带动的水土保持生态建设精品工程示范区,并逐步形成了以林果业为主体,种植、养植、旅游等各业协调发展的生态经济体系,水土流失基本得到控制,土地利用日趋合理,生态环境明显得到改善,建成了一大批水土保持精品工程,并发挥着较好效益。
