京剧曲牌音乐的来源比较复杂,其中以移用昆曲牌子为最多;其次则多从梆子等地方戏及民间乐曲中借鉴、提炼而来。因乐队伴奏形式的不同而大致分为三类:其一为由“文场”演奏,以鼓板领奏的“清牌子”。此类中又可细分诸种,常见的如胡琴曲牌[小开门][柳青娘][夜深沉]、笛子曲牌[山坡羊][春日景和]、唢呐曲牌[工尺上][柳摇金]等。而[将军令][水龙吟]等个别曲牌在演奏时虽略加打击乐协奏,但仍属“清牌子”类。其二为“混牌
