PROBLEM PROBLEMS This paper attempts to explore global lithospheric kinematics based on the concept of duality of regional structures. This concept develops A.B. Pei-Wei (1963) the notion of differential movement of crustal blocks simultaneously with compressional and tensile conditions and the important role played by the plastic flow of petrophysical material in the faulting and fracture formation of the geological formations. Consideration is also given here by Ю.М.Пущаровский (1972) on the convection of deep SiAl layers in various tectonic units. Duality refers to the construction of two equal-size and power-movement
