探索总结新经验 做好双语教学工作——中国少数民族双语教学研究会第十次全国学术研讨会侧记

由中国少数民族双语教学研究会主办,西北民族学院承办的以“双语教学与西部大开发”为主题的中国少数民族双语教学研究会第十次全国学术研讨会,于2002年7月22日至24日在西部地区甘肃省省会兰州市召开。铁木尔·达瓦买提副委员长在讲话中指出,在民族教育中.因地制宜地开展双语教学工作,不仅是贯彻执行党的民族政策和国家法律的具体体现.也是从实际出发,发展民族教育,培养民族人才,弘扬民族文化的必然要求。从实际出发开展双语教育,是符合我国民族众多、文化各异这一基本国情的有效的教育模式.对提高民族教育质量.促进民族教育事业的发展。发挥了积极的作用。多年来,我国民族教育双语教学工作.积累了许多有益经验.取得了很大成绩。但要在已有的成绩基础上不断总结经验,根据新形势要求.进一步探索总结新经验.把民族教育双语教学工作做好。李晋有副主任在讲话中强调.在西部大开发的进程中,双语教学是必须做好的现实问题。在西部地区,只有实施双语教学,大力培养民族语和汉语兼通人才,才能从根本上改变西部地区的落后状况,从而促进西部地区经济社会的全面发展。少数民族不仅学习母语、汉语,还要学习外语。如何处理好三者之间的关系,已成为需要解决的迫切问题。希望广大双语教学、科研工作者站在时代的高度 The 10th National Symposium on Bilingual Teaching of Chinese Minorities with the theme of “Bilingual Teaching and Western Development” sponsored by China Ethnic Minority Bilingual Teaching Research Association and hosted by Northwest Nationalities Institute From July 22, 2002 to On the 24th held in Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu Province in the western region.
