The intelligence of 189 patients with stroke was measured by Hasegawa’s Intelligence Test Scale, and the effect of lesion, brain atrophy and rCBF on intelligence was analyzed. 69 of them Hasegawa score below 21.5 points. When the lesion is located in the left hemisphere, 42.9% of patients with dementia or suspicious dementia; and lesions in the right hemisphere, only 23.1% are dementia and suspicious dementia. Correlation analysis between rCBF and Hasegawa scores showed that rCBF of left frontal, right temporal and left parietal lobe had a significantly positive correlation with Hasegawa score. Tip left hemisphere in intellectual activities play a leading role. Brain atrophy is also a factor that affects intelligence.
