统计近１０年发表的查新论文，拟从论文的时间分布、核心著者、期刊分布和内容入手，分析查新工作存在的问题，并提出一些建议。查新工作存在的问题有：查新名称不统一；研究层次低，定量研究少；人员缺乏培训，素质有待提高。建议规范查新名称，定性与定量研究相结合，实行联合培训，加强学科化建设，促使查新工作规范化、标准化，建立评价查新质量的客观指标体系，实施“优胜劣汰”制，以期对查新工作有所启示。
