近现代著名画家陶冷月,作为“新中国画”的创始者,长期致力于中西绘画的探索和研究,他所创造的中西融合的“冷月”画法在二三十年代的画坛享有很高声誉。陶焘,清代著名的山水画家,陶冷月之伯祖。陶冷月自幼学习中国传统绘画,常临摹其画稿,因此打下了结实的绘画基础。上世纪80年代陶冷月先生在自己九十诞辰的时候,为感谢家乡人民的热爱,将其所绘的五件精品之作捐献给苏州博物馆。今年“5·18国际博物馆日”活动中,由陶焘后人捐献的陶焘墓志铭和苏州博物馆藏陶焘绘画作品的同时亮相,不仅揭开了尘封已久的历史,还展示了陶焘的绘画艺术。通过对苏州博物馆藏陶焘、陶冷月作品的介绍,阐述陶氏祖孙在绘画艺术上的传承与升华。
As a founder of “New Chinese Painting”, Tao Lengyue, a famous modern artist, has long been devoting himself to the exploration and research of Chinese and Western paintings.
