The Central Party Committee and the State Council on the 4th of this year approved the “Report on Creating a New Situation for Corps and Communities” issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fishery. This is yet another important document following the Central Government’s one-year documentary campaign to invigorate the rural economy. In order to speed up the development of township and village enterprises, including village-run enterprises and some affiliates of cooperative enterprises and other forms of cooperative industries and individual enterprises, the following decisions should be made in light of the spirit of the Central Document No. 1 and No. 4 and the actual conditions in our province: First, we must make great efforts to develop township and village enterprises as a strategic task of rejuvenating Hunan’s economy.
