吉林省水利建设发展较快,但资金不足,科技力量有限,所面临的技术问题靠本省自己解决困难很大。东北地区水利科技协作,使在较短的时间内,以较少的科研费用,解决了水科建设中亟待解决的问题,并且提高了自身科研水平,将先进的科研成果应用于水利建设中,取得了较大的经济、社会效益。吉林省向兄弟省区提供了水力自动弧形闸门、玻璃丝油毡布渠道防渗、柔性斜拉渡槽、锚定板栏河坝、简易模袋护坡等技术。建议东北地区水利科技协作活动坚持下去并向深层次发展。
