杜甫平生所著“诗史”因其深远的文学素养和鲜明的时代精神而饮誉中外,倍受推崇。随着“杜甫”热的兴起,英译“诗史”也成为了一股影响深远的文化驱动力。中外学者对杜甫“史诗”英译的研究虽取得丰硕成果。然而,研究角度大多集中于诗中“意象”’“语言”或“形式”等方向,而对飘扬过海后诗文本身逐渐消瘦的美学意味的研究却非常有限。在英译过程中,由于众多主客观因素对翻译活动的制约,原诗的意境、“形”体、所蕴含的时代内涵以及文化信息等都受到了一定程度的缺损和消弱。 Du Fu ’s Life Story “History of Poetry ” is highly praised both at home and abroad due to his profound literary accomplishment and distinctive spirit of the times. With the rise of “Du Fu” fever, the English translation of “Poetry History” has also become an influential cultural driving force. Chinese and foreign scholars have done fruitful research on Du Fu’s English translation of epic. However, most of the research focuses on such aspects as “imagery”, “language” or “form” in the poem. However, the research on the esthetic meaning of poetry itself after the floating is too limited is very limited. In the process of English translation, due to the constraints of many subjective and objective factors on translation activities, the original artistic conception, the “shape” body, the connotation of the times and the cultural information contained in the original poem have all suffered some defects and weakened.
