In the past decades,grassland in Golog Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture had suffered full-scale degradation.Using historical data from the 1960s,the effect of climate variations and human activities on grassland productivity and the causes of grassland degradation in the Golog Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture was analyzed in this study.The results showed that the study area was sensitive to global warming because its temperatures increased significantly.The annual precipitation and humidity decreased slightly from 1961 to 2010.
